BRRRR.....

I took these yesterday. It didn't even hit 40 yesterday and got pretty cold last night so they turned the water on at work to protect some of the flushing buds. This was the result....
Just about makes me shiver looking at the picture!

Fish out of water..

I found these last week. They stand out like a "fish out of water" when everything is still so gray and dull, them BAM! Fire red berries!

Snow....

Well it snowed but at least it was pretty.

OMG there is life outside! I noticed this on Saturday. Thank goodness for spring sorta starting!

Sorry..

It is just much too depressing here in MN to even think about gardening or blogging about gardening. We still have snow on the ground!! I did see that my peony was beginning to come up but its hard to get too excited when I am still wearing my winter coat and mittens to go outside! I apologize for being such a Debbie-downer but this is rather ridiculous with all this snow! Ugh! Hopefully the next post will be a little more up-beat!

Ready...

I just saw a really neat picture of a black and blue salvia that made me really excited to get out and take pictures of flowers! Guess there are no flowers still with so much snow on the ground, but its getting closer!! 6 weeks and I will hopefully be working back outside!
