Sympathy week

I used it as a door swag, but really its a non traditional funeral "swag"

loved the colors!!

again funeral wreath used as a door wreath. you cannot see the water dripping!

and as a centerpiece! it was just a little too depressing to photograph these funeral pieces looking like funeral pieces

i added the caramel colored hypericum berries as well!

centerpieces and fun stuff

loved this one, and great way to use lilies!

Framing & Zen

This week we worked on framing the arrangement, everything went in straight.

I think one of my favorite little pieces I have done so far. This was our zen project. She told us we could use 1 galax leaf, bear grass, curly willow, moss, and one gerbera daisy. My galax leaf was HUGE, so I decided it was kind of like a lily pad, and the loops of bear grass just seemed like they would be interesting, and the curly willow to balance it all out.

Asian themed vertical design, mine ended up to be very minimalistic compared to the others, but I liked it and doesn't need to be too fussy. The raffia and 3 bamboo pieces on the pot were my addition as well. Sometimes you just amaze your self! HA!

Wedding week part 2

a lovely corsage...

I realized I kind of enjoy making head wreaths! But it was only one so don't anyone get and ideas!

Flower School Week 1 part 2

European Hand-tied up close

European hand tied

One sided triangle

Well I have realized the one sided triangle like the one above is definitely not my favorite! But a basic design skill that is used quite often. The european hand tied was actually quite fun! The goal is to have the bouquet stand on its own after you are done, which it did! yea!!
