She's so beautiful she's blushing

These beautiful blushing bride hydrangeas came up from a greenhouse and they were blooming. I couldn't help but take a picture! I love it when they are a creamy green/white.

This flower head was almost the size of a small basket ball. It was huge!

Don't get me wrong I like spiraea's and they have their spot in the landscape, I just think they are over used. The yellow foliage is so bright its almost blinding, watch out!

Weekend Project!

Our Sunday project! Last fall we tore out the Bed of Lily of the Valley. And put in some plants. This year I continued to pull out the lily of the valley (did I mention I hate that plant??), then we put in some tumbled edgers! Yea for finally having a plan outisde. I love it, and cannot wait to put the new plants in.

*A bit of advice DO NOT EVER PLANT LILY OF THE VALLEY, your future homeowners will never forgive you!!!

Color, Color, Color!

Rhododendron Lemon Lights

I can see color starting on this otherwise dull brown landscape. And dandelions don't count.
